Through three distributors located in the states of Rio de Janeiro, Ceará and São Paulo, we distribute energy for more than 15 million residential, commercial, industrial, rural and public sector customers.
In power generation, our activities are 100% based on renewable sources, with over 5.0 GW of combined installed capacity. We serve distributors, traders and free customers in various parts of the country.
In trading market, we buy and sell conventional and incentivized energy on the Energy Free Market in several states through Enel Trading. Our portfolio includes more than 3,000 clients of different sizes and segments.
In order to continue playing a leading role in the energy world, we also act as an integrator of intelligent solutions to connect residential and business customers to the resources that are transforming the traditional electricity sector, such as distributed generation, automation, energy storage and electric mobility, as well as many other innovative solutions.
The activities of generation, distribution, commercialization and energy solutions are under the control of the holding company Enel Brasil, a privately-held corporation.
An innovative and sustainable company
Innovation and sustainability are two very important pillars at Enel. We believe that there is no way for a company to be sustainable without continually innovating and innovation must always be focused on sustainability.
Therefore, in line with the Creating Shared Value (CSV) model adopted by the company worldwide, we aim to associate the development of our business with the needs of Brazilian communities and we carry out different initiatives to enable income generation, such as courses, workshops and other social projects.
In addition, we are explicitly committed to achieving four of the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): broad access to clean and affordable energy, support for quality education, contribution to socio-economic development and fight against climate change.
